The belt is previously designed to prevent the trousers dropping from the waist. With the development of science and technology, today’s girdle is various and grotesque. It would be no exaggeration to say that everyone has at least one. Then who is more likely to wear leather belt, men or women? The answer is certain. It is men that are more inclined to wear girdles than their female counterparts. I would like to give my reasons in both positive and negative aspects.
Men like to wear leather belts
There are several reasons supporting this statement. First of all, men generally own few accessories except watch, necktie and scarf. Wearing a leather girdle will make men look attractive and charming. Secondly, most men will easily grow stout when they get to a certain age. Then wearing trousers together with leather belts will help them look thinner, gentle and decent. What is more, if an adult does not wear the belt, he will leave an unmatured image and appearance to his friends and colleagues. Last but not least, some high-quality girdles are so expensive that amount to thousands of dollars. Owning an expensive belt, to a certain extent, is also the representation of men’s status and position. In a word, an appropriate girdle to a man not only means a simple decoration of trousers but a symbol of taste and style of life.
